Star Catcher

Star Catcher is a space infrastructure company building a space-based energy grid that delivers power to satellites in orbit. It develops optical power beaming systems that transmit concentrated solar energy from its orbital “power nodes” to spacecraft, allowing satellites to access additional electricity without modifying their existing solar panels. The company’s platform is designed as shared infrastructure for low Earth orbit, where multiple satellites can draw power on demand to extend mission life, increase payload capability, and improve operational uptime. It combines ground and space-based systems, including precision tracking, optical transmission, and energy management software that coordinates power delivery between nodes and client spacecraft.
